Baptist Women
Women on Mission (WMU) is an organization for Baptist women to be able to participate in mission projects locally, on a national level, and world wide. Our group at Northside is actively participating in programs that promote missions and helping others. Current Projects
We are collecting tooth paste for the NC WMU prison ministry "Christmas Red boxes". These are boxes of items collected from across the state that are then given to women in prison. This is a major ministru of the WMU women of North Carolina. Bring your donated items to the church. See Beth Dyson for additional information.
The Piedmont Association's WMU is collecting fabric to make backpacks for the women's prison retreat. They can use fabric 1 1/2 yards wide of polyester/cotton blend - light to medium weight, bright colors, patterns or strips - no solids. If you would like to donate see Beth Dyson.
Special Offerings This Month:
Thanksgiving Offering & Week of Prayer - monies go to the Baptist Childrens' Home - Offering dates are November 15 - 22
Week of Prayer - monies go to the International Missions Offering - better known as the Lottie Moon Offering - Offering dates are November 29 - December 8
